[Help] Getting Prepaid Sim Card in Japan (Update: 2018)

Getting a prepaid sim card in Japan can be quite simple, however, not many people will consider that as comparing getting a prepaid sim card and a WiFi rental egg which can be shared with many people sim card cost in Japan is slightly higher and does not guarantee good connectivity. I have used a few different prepaid sim card for my trip to Japan, and here is the compilation of it. There are many sim card available in Japan but the cost can be quite expensive and not very efficient, is good to compare and check on which type of sim card is suitable for you.

After the opening of Hokuriku line in 2015 with only 2.5-hour direct shinkansen ride from Tokyo to Kanazawa, more and more tourist are flocking to this beautiful city which is famous for it well-preserved buildings and history, the next place to visit after Kyoto. [Trip] Japan- Half day to Shin Takaoka from Kanazawa City

A day where we did not plan anything, I search on the web on where should we go. I chanced upon Takaoka, i do not know much about this place except that this is a hometown for the famous robot cat, Doraemon, which I believe that most of us will know about it.

[Eat] Having high tea at Vivienne Westwood Café in Taipei

A day where we had plan to go to HsinChu city for a half day trip, however, due to bad weather we cancelled the trip and decided to stay in Taipei city.

Did a quick check on interesting cafe or places where we can spend our afternoon. We chanced upon Vivienne Westwood Cafe in Taipei, we thought that it is quite cool, hence we went over to have our afternoon tea there.

[Move] Travelling between Nagoya and Central Japan International Airport

After arriving at Central Japan (Chubu) International Airport, we hop onto the airport express train which took last than 30 minutes for us to start touring around this mesmerising Nagoya city.

[Move] Using the 5 Day JR Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass

A trip we had from Nagoya to Osaka via the Hokuriku Arch. As there are a few stops and places that we hope to visit, for instance, Shirakawa-go, Kanazawa and Osaka, this pass actually works well for us.

I will be putting down the important details on where to get the ticket, how to exchange your voucher, comparing the cost for different agencies, some of the terms and conditions the pass has, and points that we have to take note of.
