Planning to celebrate a year-end countdown in Taiwan? We will only think of the big concert at the city hall and see the fireworks up close. However, have you think of looking at the fireworks from Taipei 101 in a different view and away from the crowd? Why not head down to MaoKong, a quieter place to have the view of the Taipei 101 fireworks.

As Maokong is not at the city center, it can be quite confusing for the first timer who wish to visit the place. This post would serve as a transportation guide of how to get to MaoKong from Taipei City.

[Eat] Taiwan, Taipei- Top One Pot Hotpot Restaurant Fuzhong Branch

We tried the Wu Lao Guo during our previous visit to Taiwan. This time round, our Taiwanese friend introduced this famous hot pot restaurant, Top one pot, in Taiwan. This is ranked top 3, within 2 years of its operation. Currently, its review from the local was excellent and some even said that it is better than Wu Lao Guo. However, it is up to the individual preference and for service wise,  after serving the customers, the service staffs at Top One Pot are not required to bow 90 degree, unlike Ding Wang or Wu Lao Guo whereby this action might cause some customer to feel uneasy.

[Fly] Hello Kitty Jet experience with EVA Air

I must confess that this is my first time travelling with EVA air and the Hello kitty jet. Even though everybody know the Hello Kitty Jet but I always didn’t have the chance to fly with EVA air because of the competitive air fare with Singapore airline, which made me choose our national carrier over EVA air.

However, this time round with the intention to sit inside a themed aircraft, I made an effort to went in their official website to check on their departure time and date.
