Want to get around Nikko? But couldn’t decide which bus pass to get maybe this will be of a help in your planning.

I was actually in a dilemma at first of where I wanted to go. For most of the people, the route they would want to visit is quite easy to guess, which is called the 2 shrines 1 temple tour getting on and off the bus downtown. But if you want to go further down to see the waterfall it would be a little challenging and also time-consuming.

[Move] To Nikko transferring train at Utsunomiya Station

This post was actually not on the list when I planned my itinerary, but you all know that even though you have made a perfect plan for your trip unforeseen event will still happen.

I have actually got the reserved seat ticket to Nikko on the first day when we got to Japan at the airport for our direct train from Shinjuku station, however, we missed the train and had to transfer train at Utsunomiya Station.

[Trip] One day trip at Kawaguchiko

Getting around Kawaguchiko could be quite easy and straight forward. However, if you are planning to stay more than one day, it is good to plan ahead and take note of your transportation fee or what pass you should buy. Please note whether you can get to see Mount Fuji, it all depends on the weather. Sadly, we didn’t manage to see Mount Fuji in this trip.

A short introduction of Fujisan View Express. It started operating this year in April, as a commemoration of Fuji Kyuukou, the railway company 90th anniversary. It was known as the train which brings you closest to Mt Fuji. And for train lovers, this train is designed by Eiji Mitooka, who was also the designer for Seven Stars in Kyushu.
