The bubble tea phenomena that have hit Singapore long ago from the classic Bubble Milk tea to last year craze for Brown Sugar Milk Tea with pearl, and this year a new wave of bubble tea shop is coming in like Machi Machi, Chun Fun How (春芳號). To be honest, there are plenty of bubble tea stalls in Singapore and it is at every malls and not forgetting our neighbourhood areas.
I will be sharing my favourite Top 5 Bubble Tea store in Singapore, it might change over time too.
My TOP 5 Bubble Tea Shop in Singapore
*Ranking not in Sequence*
1) LiHO 里喝!
LiHO the Singapore bubble tea shop, established in 2017 by Royal T Group. L.
The bubble tea shop that I will go to when I have craving for a simple Bubble Milk Tea. It is close to us, being the neighbourhood bubble tea shop that is at every part of Singapore.
Now Klook is having a promotion for their medium size Milk Tea with Black Pearls. The redemption of the voucher is valid at all LiHO TEA outlets in Singapore and easy to use just let the staff scan the QR code to get your drinks.
2) Gong Cha 贡茶
Established in Taiwan, Kaohsiung in 2006, Gong Cha now has 1,500 worldwide. In 2016 Gong Cha Korea, Co. bought 70% of the ownership from Gong Cha Taiwan.
After exiting in Singapore in 2017, it is back in Singapore after 6 months opening its 1st store at SingPost Centre.
Gongcha is one of Singaporean favourite drink in 2013 and 2014 before it was sold off 70% of ownership to Gong Cha Korea, Co. and it was my favourite brand too. I used to visit the nearest Gongcha Store to get my favourite tea during lunchtime.
Now it is still one of my favourite bubble tea shops, however they do not have a lot of outlets in Singapore now compared to their peak. But still, my favourite drink would be their Milk Foam Alishan Tea.
3) Jenjudan 珍煮丹
Since 2010 with a humble beginning at Shilin Night Market in Taiwan, and it has become a chain store in the overseas markets.
This is my favourite brown sugar boba milk since i first tried it in Taiwan, and I was happy that it came to Singapore last year. I like how the drink is, not too creamy and goes well with the Boba which was glazed with brown sugar and chewy.
4) ChiCha San Chen 吃茶三千
Originating from Taiwan, Taichung CHICHA San Chen (吃茶三千) founded in 1998. Opening its flagship store in Singapore last year in May 2019 at 313@Somerset.
The packaging of ChiCha San Chen gives off an old school vibe and their tea are of top quality if you are a tea person this is something you would want to try.

5) Playmade by 丸作
丸作”Wan Zuo” same as how it was named, PlayMade focuses more on the quality of the pearls, which made them unique in the Bubble Tea Market. With a total of 17 outlets across Taiwan since 2015 and a few outlets in Canada, Vietnam and Australia.
Singapore opens its first outlet in 2017 at Tampines One.
There are 4 different flavours types of pearls: Pink Cactus, Black Sesame, Burnt Caramel and White Pearls. All the pearls are made hourly on the spot using all-natural ingredients with no artificial flavouring added.
(Different outlet operating hours will varies)

I thought the pink cactus pearl would taste weird but when i tried it, it was surprisingly good. The pearls are like their name, they are good at making pearls, the drinks are normal but not that bad.
