The chocolate croissant was so delicious, that we have to wait for it to be refilled. The buffet was almost the same as what we had with Icelandair Hotel Natura, and they also have the waffle machine too, although the batter was not as good as the Strata hotel :
Our Room:
It’s larger than the other hotels, that we have stayed., with simple amenities and comfortable beds.
The wardrobe and closet:
Simple and clean Bathroom:
Chasing the Northern light:
On the first night, each room was provided with a northern light starter kit bag, which contains, a blanket and a headlight after the search, there was hot cocoa available at the hotel bar. Even though we were having all these necessities, there was no northern light that day and we didn’t have a chance to follow our tour guide.
The last night in Klauster, just when we thought that we wouldn’t be able to see any northern light during our trip, the miracle happened. There it was, dancing and waving above us~
The experience was so awesome when we were looking at it that day. The northern light looks different from what we had in mind, and when we captured it using our camera, it turned out to be such a beauty.
Overall:
To conclude, the hotel was simple and clean, the receptionist was friendly too. However, walls are thin and we could hear footsteps of the other guests walking past our door and when closing it. Currently, the hotel is still under renovation and will be carried out until the beginning of December. Therefore, do take note of these when you are planning to stay in this hotel.
