Our 6 days 5 nights tour package, includes accommodation and daily breakfast. This is the appointed hotel by our agency, which we will be staying in on our first and last day of our tour. The Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura
A little introduction of the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura, as you can see from its name it is one of the Icelandair group which consist of the Iceland Air, Iceland travel and more. This is one of the largest hotel chains in Iceland, you will be seeing more of its hotel in the following posts as out of our 5 night in Iceland, we are staying 4 nights at their chain hotels.
As for the location, it’s not convenient if you were to compare with our previous stay at the Reykjavik Residences Suite. However, one good thing is that they provide you with a free bus pass so that you could hop on and off their city bus to explore Reykjavik.

Room 1
Our room for the first night of the tour, double bedroom:
Simple desk and mini fridge:
Bathroom:
The reason for this photo? Because 4 out of 5 the hotels we stayed in Iceland uses L’occitane shampoo and it’s so good!!!
Room 2
We stayed in another room on our last night in Iceland:
Love this room even though it looks a little old, but we were facing the domestic airport and we can see the takeoff and landing of the planes:
Overall
Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura is below my expectation, but still bearable as we understand that it is not a new hotel, and given the price of it, I believe this is what you will get. Since we are only staying for two nights, we did get to stay in 2 different types of room and different view. The room has some small defects like broken fridge door and a table lamp that is not working, however, it is okay as we are not staying for too long.
The good thing about this hotel, it is out of the bustling town, which means you will have more chance to catch the northern light here (Which we did~) and able to see more nature. At the front desk, they have tour group that allow you to join the northern light tour. What else? they have the free bus pass that allows you to get downtown, rooms have great view~
