Walking on the Glass Tray can be a nerve-wracking yet thrilling experience as you look straight down at the streets below. Safety precautions, including shoe covers, are provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk.

My Experience at the Mahanakhon Skywalk

We visited the Skywalk as a group of five adults and a child. While the child in our group was eager to try the SkyRides, the rest of us opted for tickets with printed photos and digital images instead. We found the prices quite reasonable, and the photo package was a nice touch to remember our visit.

Backpacks were not allowed up, but we utilized the free lockers in the lobby. Additionally, camera tripods and selfie sticks were prohibited. Phones were allowed, but photo-taking was restricted to designated areas marked with barricades. We took turns helping each other capture memorable shots in these permitted zones.

For those with acrophobia (fear of heights), entering the Skywalk might be a challenge. We saw a few visitors who struggled and needed to hold onto the rails for support as they exited. It’s important to note that once you step onto the glass floor, you must exit from the opposite side.

After exploring the Skywalk, we took a short break at the rooftop bar, Sky Beach. I enjoyed a glass of iced latte while taking in the magnificent views. It was a relaxing way to end an exciting visit.
