[Move] Hong Kong- Hong Kong to Macau (By Ferry)

One day trip to Macau started off in the morning. Although i got up early but i got out of hotel late. 😛 The ferry terminal was a 10-15 minutes walk from my hotel.

There are a few place where you could board a ferry to get to Macau. When i reached the ferry terminal i was approached by a outsourced ticket seller, didn’t thought much and brought the ticket from him, which cost me 345HKD round ticket.

I took the Cotai Water Jet Ferry to Macau, there are other companies at the terminal too. However, i will only cover this ferry that i took.

Things to bring:

Remember to bring your passport, Macau is not Hong kong you still need to go through the immigration.

My little story:

That  day that i was there at the ferry terminal it was crowded and with no orders, in another word, messy.

A Chinese national lady who was with her friend behind me was being cut queue by their own nationals. She looks so angry, i think they are not that easy to be bully too, as she pulled her friend with her and told the person who cut queue to move off. I can only say maybe i am still not use to this kind of culture.

After all this funny encounter, i was inside the terminal got myself some sweets as i don’t feel like eating anything yet. Went to find the boarding door but there are still some time left.

I can only say the people leaves a very bad impression to me as there a lot of tour group going back to mainland using ferry as the transport it was really woah~!~! Eye opener~!~!
Inside was rowdy and more the other nationals are having cultural shocked too, their faces looked disturbed by it. I also get to see tour guide shouting for their group to gather and more, okay i think i will stop here or else nobody want to go there anymore.

Maybe i just choose the wrong date to go, other than that the staff there are nice and friendly, even the convenience store’s staff too. hahaha what a contrast ~!

2 Cents Opinion:

If this is your first time boarding a ferry and you do not know if you have seasickness a not it would be nice to take a sea sickness pill before you board. It can be purchase at the convenience store.
