Since March the pandemic has hit us badly and we were unable to go anywhere. Singapore is slowly recovering and started to open most of our tourist attraction in our Circuit Breaker Phase 2. Universal Studio Singapore is one of the attractions which was reopened from 1 July 2020 with new rules and guideline to abide.
Universal Studio Singapore
Southeast Asia’s first Hollywood movie theme park, Universal Studios Singapore, features an enticing selection of attractions, rides and entertainment for families and thrill-seekers.
Indeed, 18 out of the 24 movie-themed rides were designed just for the Singapore park.

Queuing and abiding the safe distance measures.
Next, we move onto the TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle
Last time the 3D Spectacles were placed on the rack and we will need to take it ourselves. Now the 3D specs were handed to us by the staff to prevent cross contamination.
As the waiting time for the Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON™ and Revenge of the Mummy™ were too long, we went to The Lost World first for the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure™ and some other rides first before heading back to them. And stopped by the Far Far Away to have some rest and to queue for the Puss In Boots’ Giant Journey.
Puss In Boots’ Giant Journey
Queuing for our ride.
Got to catch the glimpse of the last performance of the day for the Halloween theme Minion Show.
Rushed to take the Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON™ at night before it closes.
Heading back to the entrance.
The quiet scene as the park is closing soon.
Overall:
We had an awesome day at the USS and stayed until 9 pm, which was their closing time. It was the first time for me to have stayed in USS the whole day until it closed.
The waiting time for the rides were almost the same as Pre-Covid which was about 30mins – 90mins, for most of the popular rides like Battlestar Galactica: HUMAN vs. CYLON™, Revenge of the Mummy™, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure™, their average waiting time are around 70-90mins. Some of the rides or shows are temporarily closed, hence, it gives visitors more time on other shows or to queue for the rides. However, it is a pity that we did not get to play all the ride this time as the operating hours are shortened.
