[Stay] Spain, Madrid – Eric Vökel Atocha

We booked this apartment, Eric Vökel Atocha, based on the well-taken photos from the website, and I must say, we are not disappointed at all. The apartment definitely meet our expectations during our stay in Eric Vökel Atocha, although the apartment differs slightly from what we see from the website.

I couldn’t find words to describe how we enjoyed our stay here and the apartment is just a short walking distance from the train station. Please do consider staying here when you are in Madrid.

Eric Vökel Atocha Suites

The apartments are new because the building was refurbished in 2013. It is located right at the center of the Golden Triangle of Art, and it is just a few minutes away from the Prado Museum, Reina Sofía Museum and Retiro Park.

The guests are well connected to different parts of this fantastic city like Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía as the apartment is near the Atocha metro station. Most importantly, the property provides free Jacuzzi and parking access for the guests.

In conclusion, this is the best stay we had in Spain, it is much better than the hotel. The security is good because an access code is provided to guests. A staff will be providing assistance when required at the lobby. Amenities are available in the lobby, eg. cooking oil, dishwashing powder, butter, coffee packet, etc. However, the pool is closed when we were there.

Furthermore, there is a supermarket near to the apartment (within 5 minutes walk), and you can do your groceries shopping easily.

Most noteworthy, the apartment is very convenient because the various transportation (eg. train station, subway station and the bus stop) are all within 15 minutes walk.
