[Stay] Staycation review at Singapore Royal Plaza on Scotts

Thinking of where to go this coming long weekend? Still not confident about flying out of Singapore yet maybe can consider having a staycation at our Singapore Hotel. We had 3 days 2 nights stay at Royal Plaza on Scotts, a hotel which I have always wanted to come over for their buffet. Sadly, I still did not have a chance to try their award-winning Carousel buffet restaurant, which is one of the few hotels in Singapore with halal-certified dining options.

Royal Plaza on Scotts

A hotel located in Orchard right in the middle of Singapore, a colourful, bright, and stylish room design with incredible flavours at our award-winning buffet restaurant Carousel. Orchard MRT station is mere meters away,  which makes travelling easy for travellers.

Bathroom

Vanity kits

We like how the design of the bathroom shower area as some elderly can have a sit while bathing.

New and modernise hotel now rarely comes with a bathtub which I am pretty happy with it.

Some of the simple amenities, kettle and safe.

Work station

They have a laundry and dry cleaning service. If you need laundry service you can use the laundry bag and put the bag outside the door their staff will come over to collect it daily.

Overall:

A decent and simple hotel, do not expect much. The room is well kept clean and tidy, however, the minibar is empty and I felt that at least there should be some items inside even if chilled mineral water is okay. But they are very generous in giving mineral water bottles if you asked for them. The housekeeping staff are very friendly and nice when we actually requested quite a lot of things from them.

Breakfast options are simple omelette, bread and some simple dish like sausages and hashbrowns every day will have a slight change but is only from beehoon to noodle. Not many options to choose from.

Their pool and gym are closed so we cannot visit it during our stay.
