[Stay] Switzerland, Zurich – Hotel du Théâtre by Fassbind Review

We only have 24 hours in Zurich, we only arrived at the city at night and will be leaving to Vienna the next day via night train. We took into consideration our length of stay (only for one night), budget and the location during our hotel search. This hotel caught my attention because we can see the red inclined tram, and it is less than 10 minutes walk from the station with a supermarket close by.

View from our room

The hotel entrance does not have a slope to pull your luggage, you will need to carry it up. Will recommend for a short stay less than 2 days, we did not expect much as we are only staying for one night. The room is tidy but a little dusty and looks tired, otherwise, it is acceptable. For people who are a light sleeper, I think you might want to consider booking another hotel. As this hotel is surrounded by roads so don’t expect it to be quiet. They will also provide earbuds if you need can request at the front desk. The hotel is at a convenient location where we can walk to most of the attractions. The receptionist was very friendly and nice.
