What are the things to do and places to visit if you have a day to spend in Lisbon city? We decided to take a tram up the hilltop looking down the city and enjoy the sunset view from Cais das Colunas. After that, enjoy a walk to the bustling shopping district right behind the Rua Augusta Arch.
The first stop for the day is a relaxing itinerary after we reached Granada. The Mirador de San Nicolás, a place that has a preview of the Alhambra from a different view and it is known for its beautiful view especially when the sun is setting.
When we were planning our day trip to Avila and Segovia, we were contemplating if we should rent a car or join a local tour. After taking into consideration the cost of the car rental vs local tour, we decided to go with a local tour.
We booked our day tour via Viator and the 8-hour tour cost 80EUR (per person, lunch not included). You can opt for the tour with lunch included (cost will differ).
Still thinking of where to go in South Holland but only have limited time. A little background of the places before we move on, Kinderdijk is one of the famous UNESCO world heritage in Netherlands, and Rotterdam the second largest city after Amsterdam, a young and vibrant city with bold and modern architectures.
After all the exciting activities, it’s time to introduce more relaxing and slow activities that we have done in Reykjavik.
