We chose a slower route to travel from Christchurch to Queenstown, instead of traveling via plane, we took a tour bus. The itinerary we had for the day, our tour bus made a stop at Mount Cook Village which is at the bottom of Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, the highest mountain and the longest glacier in New Zealand, and we had a few quick stops where we are able to take the picturesque photos along our way to Queenstown.
I last visited Taichung 5 years ago and back then getting to Taichung from Taoyuan International Airport was inaccessible, however, things have changed now. A simple transportation guide covering the bus services, where to purchase your tickets, cost, duration and with attached photos for easy reference. On top of that, a short summary of the High-speed rail from Taoyuan International Airport to Taichung.
Decided to head out to the suburban area of Osaka as we are not staying in the city centre. We stayed near to this ward called Sakai. Not many people have heard of it, however, if you have been to Osaka a few times you might be interested to visit this place. It has always been on my go-to list because of the photos I have seen online. Recently, it has garnered some attention due to the advertising that is done for its annual new year event.
One of the reason to visit Sakai ward would be to ride on the Chin Chin Densha which would pass by the residential area and the older district of Osaka. In this post we will be looking at how to purchase the tram pass and some of the places to visit.
A transportation guide which will focus on the bus service that is available from Incheon International Airport to your hotel. The reason for writing this post is for travellers who do not wish to carry their luggage climbing up the long and tiring stairs from the subway station and hoping to get right in front or close to their accommodation doorsteps with ease and comfort.
Our hotel is at Gangnam Ward, thus I will put down more detailed information on how to purchase the tickets, what bus to take and also, important points to note.
Planning to celebrate a year-end countdown in Taiwan? We will only think of the big concert at the city hall and see the fireworks up close. However, have you think of looking at the fireworks from Taipei 101 in a different view and away from the crowd? Why not head down to MaoKong, a quieter place to have the view of the Taipei 101 fireworks.
As Maokong is not at the city center, it can be quite confusing for the first timer who wish to visit the place. This post would serve as a transportation guide of how to get to MaoKong from Taipei City.
Getting between Taoyuan International Airport and Taipei Main Station has always been a long journey to us in the past but now with the opening of the Metro Line in February 2017 directly to the Airport, it has saved a lot of time for the travellers. Here are some of the transport methods to get between Taoyuan Airport and Taipei Main Station. (more…)
One of the important parts of your travel planning would be the public transport tickets that each of us might need it during our trip. Not a must to have but a good option to have, which can help save some money. In Amsterdam city, there are quite a few passes/tickets that we can choose from but I will focus on one of it in this post.
From my previous post I have covered on how to get to Nikko by changing train at Utsunomiya station, and now I am going to touch on the direct train access to Nikko and getting back to the city.
As you all know that I have missed my direct train from Shinjuku to Nikko and got to take a longer but yet fun route down. But my plan for this trip was to sit on the direct train at least once and yes, I got the chance which at first I thought we would miss it again.
